I was looking through some old posts imported from my old site, and realized that it has been a long time since I’ve explained my choice of technologies to run the site. My first dynamic site was run by b2evolution. Both b2evo and WordPress were forks of an older system. And, over time, I trie...

Robin Carlisle put together a wonderful production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. I play Fred (Scrooge’s nephew).

Enjoy!

Some friends have been following links from LiveJournal, Twitter, and Facebook back to this site and have been wondering about how to log in here (so they are not commenting anonymously).

If you go to the Log In link at the top of the page, you will see a way to log in with Facebook or OpenI...

An interesting video time capsule of sorts from Apple Computers (back when Steve jobs was off innovating at NeXT).

Enjoy the video!

In a few weeks, sagefire.org will expire.

It joins www.sigilpress.com as a piece of my past. Some time next year, a couple of other domains will join the ranks as well.

Of all these, sagefire is the one I will miss the most. I’ll be interested to see who picks it up in years to come.

Pulled away from New Earth by forces that even he does not understand, the Doctor lifts the fog from one of the least understood events in the history of the Universe — The Time War.

There is nothing like the sense of accomplishment from a job well done. And, every once in a while, I get a design problem stuck in my head. Often, it is about attempting to work with limited tools.

With this site migration to drupal, I decided that my entire theme would be built in css, no hack...

As I settle into the fact that my site has been fully migrated, I breathe a sigh of relief.

I have ported all of the old entries from sagefire.org to the Journal. I still need to look through them and clean them up. I really don’t like dead links, even if they are just pointing to old youtube vide...
